Sterling Spring, LLC is a provider of quality custom antennas and value-added antenna assemblies. Every aspect of your account is managed by a single point-of-contact to promote transparency in our production process which encourages quick and easy communication to improve our customer's experience. We are able to leverage our expertise and technology to deliver high quality custom antenna products and services that meet each client's unique communications and two-way needs.

We manufacture endless styles, shapes and sizes of antennas built on our top-of-the-line CNC equipment and custom-built machinery specific for servicing our antenna customers. We have computerized centerless grinding capabilities that can provide our customers with extremely precise antenna rods that are gun-barrel straight or tapered from end to end. Sterling's secondary CNC equipment can coil, bend, pigtail, swage, trim, deburr and chamfer antenna rods to meet our customer's print specifications. We have in-house capabilities to mass produce antenna balls and utilize screw machine equipment to manufacture countless options of antenna bases. Sterling's commitment to investment in our antenna department has created a one-stop-shop for all of your antenna needs.

Our antenna assembly process provides value-added services that reduces lead times and streamlines our customer's purchasing requirements. We can safely secure the antenna base to the rod and swage-fit the ball on the tip of the rod to provide our customers with a ready to install antenna. We have fully calibrated pull-testing equipment that can allow us to meet your destructive test requirements.

Antennas can be manufactured in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, such as stainless steel, brass, alloys, aluminum as well as exotic metals and specialty materials. All of the raw materials purchased by Sterling Spring are certified by our suppliers to the ASTM, AMS or DIN standards required on your print. We purchase RoHS compliant material and DFARS material can be made available upon request.

We work extensively with approved suppliers that can complete your parts with the plating or finish of your choice. From e-coating to passivating to electro-polishing, Sterling has a large network of suppliers that provide high quality and timely finishes at an economic price that will be included in your quoted price. Sterling will expedite the service required and will obtain plating certifications based on your print specs for each lot of material sent out of our shop.

Our manufacturing facility is staffed with experienced machinists and toolmakers, utilizing a broad range of precision equipment. As an ISO 9001:2008 and TS 16949:2009 certified company, we take quality seriously, and employ numerous quality measures to ensure your print specifications are attained. Our manufacturing processes meet SAE standards and we are a member of the Chicago Area Spring Manufacturers Institute (CASMI).
